What is Milkaid?
Milkaid contains lactase enzyme, a safe natural enzyme that is usually found in the digestive system. It works by breaking down the complex milk sugar lactose, into two more easily digestible sugars – glucose and galactose.
How do Milkaid Drops work ?
Milkaid works by breaking down the lactose in milk prior to its use. Simply add three drops of Milkaid lactase enzyme to 500ml of milk, gently shake, refrigerate for 24 hours and it is ready to use in cooking, beverages and cereals, hot or cold.
This will reduce the lactose level by approximately 70%. For an even greater reduction add 10 drops, which will reduce the lactose level by approximately 96%. Once treated you can use the milk just like ordinary milk for cooking, on cereals or in beverages. Do not use more than 64 drops in any 24 hour period. The difficulty to digest lactose becomes more common as individuals age as the small intestines reduce the production of lactase.
